Pedro Mendes Leal é membro do Conselho de Administração do Grupo A. Silva & Silva, desde 1991, e acionista maioritário deste Grupo desde 2007 (no seguimento de um MBO bem sucedido). O Grupo A. Silva & Silva foi fundado em 1943, a partir de uma pequena serração no Seixal, tendo vindo a tornar-se um dos maiores grupos de construção em Portugal. Nos últimos vinte anos, o Grupo promoveu e comercializou com sucesso 3.000 unidades habitacionais, representando mais de 400.000 m2. Hoje em dia, o setor imobiliário constitui a atividade principal do Grupo, cuja carteira de vendas inclui cerca de 90.000 m2;
• Fundou em 1992 a Empark, da qual foi acionista e presidente executivo (CEO) até 2018. No momento da venda em 2018, a sociedade era uma das maiores empresas de parques de estacionamento de automóveis da Europa;
• Fundou o Bairro Alto Hotel, um hotel boutique de luxo, em Lisboa, no qual permaneceu como acionista e presidente executivo entre 2002 e 2009;
• Fundou o Hotel Valverde, um hotel boutique de luxo, em Lisboa, que em 2020 foi reconhecido pela World Travel Awards como o melhor hotel boutique de luxo da Europa, sendo seu acionista e presidente executivo desde 2013.
Luiz Godinho Lopes (LGL) é um empresário de sucesso, envolvido na área do imobiliário e da construção há mais de 30 anos.
• Licenciou-se em Engenharia Civil em 1976 no Instituto Superior Técnico, tendo concluído um pós-graduação em macroeconomia na Universidade Católica; trabalhou como engenheiro civil na Engil, de 1977 a 1983.
• Fundou a Soconstroi em 1983, tendo a firma alcançado a posição de 4.ª maior firma no setor das obras públicas e construção civil:
• 1989-1993 – a Bouygues tornou-se acionista;
• MBO bem sucedido em 1993;
• 1995 – Fusão com o Grupo A. Silva & Silva: data em que LGL e PML se encontram;
• 1997 – a sociedade é vendida à Somague;
• Projetos de construção importantes nesse período: a maioria dos parques de subterrâneos de automóveis em Lisboa, 3.000 unidades desde habitação social, fábrica da Auto-Europa, obras na rede de metro de Lisboa, a estação da Gare do Oriente e a torre Vasco da Gama.
• Após 1999, em conjunto com outros sócios, LGL foi responsável pelo desenvolvimento de alguns dos hotéis e dos projetos residenciais de luxo mais icónicos da costa do Estoril/Cascais, como por exemplo as Residências Estoril Sol, as Residências Atlântico e o Bay-View Cascais, presentemente em fase de construção;
• LGL foi um dos acionistas do Hotel Intercontinental Palácio das Cardosas (Porto) e vários Holiday Inn Express
